Cher's Sisters Only Club (SOC) is a non-profit organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. SOC began in 1999 as a book club by Ms. Cher Best of iHeartMedia, Urban Stations WPRW and WKSP. What began as a book club for African American women in the CSRA grew to a organization that enjoys giving back to the community through service.

Today, the SOC's roster includes over 40 strong, professional women of color. Due to the club's continued support of community events and work to empower women, SOC has evolved into a civic club with the purpose to: promote health and wellness education; develop the potential of teenage girls and women; and improve the quality of life in the CSRA through speciality events and programs.
